WALTER STACHECKI, Owner

Having grown up farming in Water Mill, Walter was able to parlay his love of agriculture into a successful landscape company and nursery with over 40 years of experience in the Hamptons.  With degrees in both Landscape Architecture, and Horticulture from The Ohio State University, Walter first established a garden center and landscape company in Water Mill in 1983.  Through the years his business has evolved into the 18-acre tree farm and landscape company Landplans  located in Bridgehampton.  Walter's love and knowledge of the East End is evident in his thoughtful designs which marry his clients' wishes with the existing beauty of the Hamptons.  When Walter isn't directing the landscape design of his clients properties, he enjoys clamming and fishing the local waterways, playing squash, and spending time with his wife in their home in Sag Harbor. 

RILEY, Man's Best Friend

Riley's expert hole digging techniques and hunger for the elusive squirrel make him an integral part of the Landplans team.  He can often be found surveying the fields of the nursery.
